Paris born artist Olivier Raab studied at the Ecole des Beaux Arts in Paris before spending two years at the Chelsea School of Art in London.

In 1980, Raab held his first one man show in Paris and has been exhibiting regularly ever since throughout Europe as well as in Los Angeles and Hong Kong. His work is represented in the Museum of Modern Art in Brussels and the Debeers Collection and the R.A.C in the UK.

Raab's series of beach paintings was inspired by the landscapes of southern Sweden where he spends his summer months and is reminiscent of the ‘Northern Light’ Scandinavian school of painters from the turn of the century.
