Paul Simmons studied at Saint Martin’s School of Art in London. His first major commission was to design and paint Queen Elizabeth II Silver Jubilee Royal Tournament poster and programme.

Since then Simmons has undertaken commissions for Ford, Renault, Virgin Atlantic, Eurostar and Jim Henson (creator of the Muppet characters). In 1993 he was elected as a member of the Chartered Society of Designers.

Simmons now runs his own design business and paints in a variety of media, watercolour being his favourite.
