Heather Ramsey was born in San Diego, California and grew up with sand between her toes just a bike ride away from the beach. She received her BFA in Illustration at Art Center College of Design, Pasadena, California, and also studied art at Palomar College in San Marcos, California.
While attending Art Center, Ms. Ramsey was fortunate to study under some influential teachers. Burne Bogarth, well know for illustrating Tarzan, taught her how to really see.
