Shirley Trevena Biography |

| A painter for many years, Shirley Trevena gave up her job in a London office in 1981 and moved to Brighton, on the English south coast, where she began to paint full-time. Her talent is as definite as her desire to paint. Shirley Trevena's watercolors create for our eyes sheer delight through an array of colors, compositions, patterns, and objects. There is much interplay with these elements, yet Ms.Trevena's keen sense of watercolor harmoniously unites them all for an exciting and brilliantly hued composition. Shirley's description of her work reveals her as a painter for whom expression and color are of the utmost importance.
