Stavros Kotsireas Biography |
| Stavros Kotsiréas was born in Athens in 1960. As a boy, his father’s house faced the sea and it is the carefree, vivid memories of his childhood that play an important role in the development of his work. The olive groves and cypress trees that he paints from memory, are brought to life with a vivid and expressive colour pallete. In 1980, Stavros began an apprenticeship with the costume and set designer Vasili Fotoloulo, who won an Oscar for his work on ‘Zorba the Greek.’ Stavros went on to study at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts, The Hague, Netherlands. Further postgraduate studies in Scenography and Costume Design led him to transfer with the same creative passion, his compositions onto three-dimensional objects such as ceramics. Stavros lives and works in Surrey, England. His work can be found in numerous public and corporate collections around the world and has exhibited in over 60 shows. |

Quality: Because we love art so much, we could never frame anything with less than the highest quality materials. From working directly with the best frame moulding manufacturers, to using conservation matting, quality is paramount, and your satisfaction is always guaranteed.
Pricing: We are not so bold as to offer a price match "guarantee" with the thousands of sources of custom framed art in the world. But we will stand by the statement that our prices are generally the best you will find...anywhere. We are consistently 40%-60% less than local frame shops, and usually at least 10%-20% less than other online outlets.
