| Known for her versatility in a variety of mediums and subject matter, one thing remains constant throughout Annrika James’ work: the experience of grace. Through her natural sense of design she captures and illuminates the inherent beauty and harmony present in all her images. Trained in the traditional school of drawing and painting, she now works in a more contemporary style, frequently on layered backgrounds and in vibrant colors. Annrika was born in England to Greek and English parents, and traveled extensively as a child. Surrounded y the fine art and treasures of Europe, she naturally developed a love and appreciation of art and design. She studied at t he William Morris and Central Schools of Art in London and was sponsored by the Royal Society of Arts to study textile design in Europe.
