Willi Baumeister Biography |
| Baumeister, Willi 1889–1955, German artist. Influenced by primitive art and Miro's surrealism, Baumeister created abstractions that contain mechanical and organic forms. In later works (e.g., Reddish Relief with Sand, 1950; Baumeister Coll., Stuttgart) he included ideographic signs in his compositions. Used with permission. The Columbia Encyclopedia, Sixth Edition. Quality: Because we love art so much, we could never frame anything with less than the highest quality materials. From working directly with the best frame moulding manufacturers, to using conservation matting, quality is paramount, and your satisfaction is always guaranteed.
Pricing: We are not so bold as to offer a price match "guarantee" with the thousands of sources of custom framed art in the world. But we will stand by the statement that our prices are generally the best you will find...anywhere. We are consistently 40%-60% less than local frame shops, and usually at least 10%-20% less than other online outlets.
