| A keen huntsman, Henry Alken painted what he loved best: hunting and coaching scenes. The most famous of the Alken family of painters, Henry was born in London in 1785. When viewing his paintings, it is easy to see how they reflect his true knowledge of hunting. Whether during the hunt or after a much-deserved victory, Alken brings the excitement and vigor of this age-old sport to life on canvas. He was a prolific artist who was quite well known in his day, and worked up until the end of his life in 1851. |

Quality: Because we love art so much, we could never frame anything with less than the highest quality materials. From working directly with the best frame moulding manufacturers, to using conservation matting, quality is paramount, and your satisfaction is always guaranteed.
|
Pricing: We are not so bold as to offer a price match "guarantee" with the thousands of sources of custom framed art in the world. But we will stand by the statement that our prices are generally the best you will find...anywhere. We are consistently 40%-60% less than local frame shops, and usually at least 10%-20% less than other online outlets.
