Giovanni Pannini Biography |
|
| Italian artist Giovanni Paolo Pannini was born in Piacenza in 1691 and died in Rome in 1765. After studying perspective with painters from a very flourishing region of Italy at that time (Emilia), he moved to Rome in 1711. Here, he became most famous and requested for decorations in mansions and palaces. His sights of Rome and reproductions of various gorgeous celebrations in Rome are wonderful masterpieces of this period. |
