| I am but an observer in this life - a passerby, a mental traveler. Seeking truth and inspiration from the history of the past, I am drawn to gathering bits and pieces of another time's philosophy and art, which I then merge with my expressionistic paintings and collages to create visionary art for today, explains Stephanie. A photographer and graphic designer for 20 years, Stephanie Dalton Cowan now works in the creative field as a professional illustrator and fine artist. Her unique style of mixed media collages combines traditional artwork with the digital world. Using a digital scanner as a camera, she is able to combine layers of abstract painted imagery and archival art. Stephanie has a love of literature and archival imagery that combines perfectly with her background in photography.
