Michele Killman Biography |
|
| Michele Killman was raised in San Diego, California. She enjoyed art as a child, and won a handful of art awards in grade school. She was greatly influenced by her grandmother, who started painting at the age of 70 and love it so much she would often encourage the young Killman to paint with her. Killman was adept in science and mathematics, so she went on to earn a B.A. in Biology from the University of California, San Diego. She then spent 15 years as a high-tech marketing executive. The most exciting part of her job was working with the creative team to design and create corporate logos, brochures, website and TV commercials. She has always loved the creative process, whether it involves creating marketing materials or fine art, and told herself that one day she would pursue her love of painting on a full-time basis.
