The rich texture of each item is created through the use of cotton, wool, chenille, and some synthetic yarns. These truly heirloom quality items can easily command the design of a room. | Wendy is one of those fortunate people whose life experiences, and even college studies, have all blended together beautifully to define her present career. She grew up in a family oriented toward the arts, including knitters and quilters, and is herself an accomplished craftsperson. (Until recently, weaving, spinning, and dyeing were her focuses). Her childhood home on the seashore in southern New England fostered a love of nature, Wendy's favorite subject. In college, Wendy majored in design and minored in plant science. Today, she combines these interests in her detailed watercolor and acrylic paintings. Wendy achieves her fine details using a very dry, finely pointed brush and painting directly from nature whenever possible.
