  •   Is it a print or a poster?

In short, everything we carry are fine art prints.

The definitions and differences between a print and a poster can be both vague and contradictory. However, it basically comes down to the printing process used to produce the item. Our art prints are traditionally produced using either the lithographic or serigraphic printing process, and are printed on high quality archival acid free paper. While posters are normally produced using much lower quality inks and printed on thin, high gloss stock.

We guarantee that you will be very pleased with the quality of our products, or your money back.

What is the quality of the prints that Global Gallery sells?

Our products are the highest quality fine art reproductions available. We have partnered with the most established and reputable art publishing houses around the world to bring together our extensive and diverse product line. We demand that our publishers have the same critical quality controls that we have to ensure that every art print we ship meets the standards that you should expect. In fact, several of our publishers actually print exhibition posters for many of the worlds leading museums.

Many customers ask prior to ordering, "Is it nice enough to frame?" Our products are meant to be framed, and if you do not agree once you receive it, simply return the print for a full refund.

Do your online images look just like the actual prints do?

We go to extreme lengths to ensure that our online images accurately represent the actual prints. While we are proud of the quality of our product images we must admit that our prints always look much better.

Colors will be more deep and vibrant and the resolution and level of detail will be much higher.

We do understand that you may be trying to match a print to colors in a room, therefore, if you do receive the item and the colors are not just right, we will gladly accept the item as a return and refund your money.

How exact are the listed print dimensions?

The listed print sizes are very exact.

However it depends on what dimension you need: Paper Size or Image Size.

The vast majority of all listed sizes are the Paper Size of the print. In many cases there will be a white border surrounding the image, leading to different Paper and Image Sizes.

NOTE: Not all online product images reflect the borders or text that will surround the image.

Do I have to order my prints online?

No. You can order via telephone by calling our Toll-Free number, 1.888.456.2254, Monday-Friday, 8 am - 5:30 pm. Also, you can use our "Telephone Pay" system. The ease and convenience of online ordering, combined with the confidence and peace of mind of a telephone order (Select this option during the checkout process). Or you can use our "Fax Pay" method to place your order. Simply choose this option during the checkout process, complete the order form, print it out, and fax it in.

Why are some images displayed multiple times in my search results?

Some images are displayed multiple times in the search results because there are different versions of the same images. In most instances the difference is size. Although, in some other cases there may be a border or decorative text around the image. We include all versions of each image to help insure that what you see online is what you will receive in your order.

How long will it take for my print(s) to arrive?

Our standard processing time for all orders is approximately 2-4 business days. Therefore, to get an accurate idea of the total delivery time for your order, take note of this simple equation:

PROCESSING TIME + SHIPPING TIME = DELIVERY TIME

Shipping time for Domestic U.S. orders shipped via UPS Ground is 2-10 days (no weekend deliveries). Orders originate on the East Coast. Tracking numbers are included in your shipping confirmation email. Express shipping options are available.

Shipping time for international orders shipped via air mail is 3-14 business days.

What is the Global Gallery return policy?

Our return policy is as follows:

30 Day - Money Back Guarantee

You may return any UNDAMAGED items for a full refund within 30 days of order shipment. You may also exchange any item for another or receive a store credit. All refunds are equal to the charge for the product. The customer must pay return shipping charges unless it was our shipping error.

What if I can't find the art print I am looking for in your database?

We have an extensive online database, but for editorial reasons we do not include every item that is in print. We are happy to search for your print in our offline database, which contains more than 100,000 titles and over 10,000 artists. Simply begin an offline search by e-mailing us all the pertinent information (ie. artist, title, etc.), and we will get back to you with the pricing and availability information. Email: curator@globalgallery.com

Can you estimate the value of a print I currently have?

We cannot appraise or give any type of valuation to prints or paintings that our visitors currently own. The only way for you to get a truly valid appraisal on your art is to contact a professional art appraiser and let them see the item first hand. No appraisal is truly valid unless it has actually been seen. Other outlets to obtain appraisals or further information are private galleries, auction houses, and insurance agencies. Your home-owners insurance agency would be happy to help you get your art appraised, and if it is worth anything they would also be happy to help you open a policy on it.

How secure is my credit card number during the online ordering process?

The security of orders placed through the Global Gallery Online Store is our highest priority. Our order form is only accessed through secure server software that encrypts all of the data that the customer enters. That data is then stored on a server and again encrypted for the authorization transmission which is conducted over a direct line between terminals, making electronic theft impossible. We feel that taking extreme measures to produce confidence in online purchasing are well worth the time and investment.
