The graphic world of Tab Stevens is a lively, colorful, stylish place - part Matisse, part Disney, part New York, part South Beach. His images feel casual and spontaneous, though his technique is anything but. Tab is never without his sketchbook which he fills with shapes and doodles, color combinations he finds interesting, and postcards. he samples from all of the above and builds clean, spare compositions that continue to get streamlined all the way through the creative process.

Tab was born in West Palm Beach, Florida in 1973 and has drawn or painted since childhood. He studied illustration and graphic design at The School of Visual Arts in New York, returning to Florida soon after graduation. His illustrations have appeared on book covers, in magazines, and corporate literature.

Tab continues to explore new applications for his distinctive style, including wall paper and fabric designs. He has also begun accepting portrait commissions, which, like the rest of his work and like Tab, himself, are youthful, sophisticated and wonderfully fresh.
