In her career, she has been very active in her local community, and her work has been purchased by a wide variety of clients. While her pieces published by Lipman and Image Conscious are graphic depictions of vegetables, her specialty is to paint domestic animals in portraiture style. It is her talent for portraying animals that has landed her material in places like “The Art Show at the Dog Show” in Wichita, Kansas, The School of Veterinary Medicine at Louisiana State University, and in an exhibit called “Sheep Focus.” She has also contributed art to articles in The Royal Dairy Guide and the Brighton Independent in Canadian East Northumberland.
Robinson’s talent has been employed by a variety of different clients. The country rock band The Cowboy Junkies have used her work as stage backdrops for two tours. She has done corporate Christmas cards for Labatt’s Brewery, the artwork for a General Motors Dealer calendar, and special edition prints for Ralston-Purina. A multi-faceted artist, she has worked on product development for a Canadian construction toy ZAKS.
She has also had some experience teaching art, as she has led classes in Observational Drawing at the Ontario College of Art, as well as taught art to elementary grade students.
