ARTIST BIOGRAPHIES - DAVID TUTWILER

David Tutwiler is an avid railroad enthusiast and a member of the Society of Steam Era Artists and the National Railway Historical Society. "There's something about an old steam locomotive that appeals to everyone's sense of nostalgia and tradition, and I'm certainly no exception," he says. In addition to being one of America's foremost painters of steam era railroading, David has painted significant pieces depicting traditional American landscapes and sailing vessels.

David currently divides his time between his studios on Indiana's Lake Michigan shores and in Rockport, Massachusetts.
